Create multiple signatures in Outlook

To create multiple signatures and choose signatures as you wish before sending email, please follow the instructions below

–While in Outlook, Go to Tools, Options, Mail format,

–Signatures to create new signatures. Click on New to create signature. Repeat the process to create as many as you desire. Remember to choose one as your default

–Create a blank signature that contains 2 dashes ( — ) to use when you don’t want to use a signature.

–To insert a signature, either click the Signature button on the toolbar, or choose Insert | Signature. At this point, you can choose which signature you want if not the default

Recover Deleted Items in Outlook 2007

Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 provides a way to recover items after you delete them permanently, even after you empty the Deleted Items folder.
Note The Exchange team specifies the retention time for items that are deleted permanently on the server running Exchange. After this time elapses, you cannot recover the deleted items. Currently, the deleted item recovery time is set to 14days
You can view and recover deleted items, including the items that were deleted permanently, when you selected items and pressed SHIFT+DELETE or SHIFT+Button image.

  1. In the folder from where you deleted the item, or in the Deleted Items folder, click Recover Deleted Items on the Tools menu.Recover Deleted Items option
  2. Click an item and then click Recover Selected ItemsButton image. Tip To select multiple items, press CTRL as you click each item.
    Each recovered item is restored to the folder from which it was deleted.
    Note You cannot recover an item if it does not appear in the Recover Deleted Items dialog box.

Accessing service accounts from Outlook 2007

Service accounts are usually shared mailboxes that multiple users can access. These accounts can be accessed via web client or Outlook client.
To access via the web, use this URL: https://owa.domain.com
The service account name is usually the login name. Login with the password assigned to the service account.
An Admin group is created to manage a particular service account or service accounts. Users in these admin groups can manage the service accounts by adding users to the admin group as needed and able to do some house cleaning.
To open the service account inbox or calendar via Outlook, please follow these steps:
· While in Outlook, click on File, Open other users folder
· Type the service account name and select desired folder(Inbox or Calendar)
· The Inbox or Calendar is now open
IMPORTANT NOTES:
· Admin groups for the service accounts must have full mailbox access rights to the service accounts respectively
· The service account manager will have the password to be able to login via the web
· The service account manager will be responsible for adding users to the admin group as needed.
