Share folders in Outlook 2010/2013

​To share an Exchange Email folder:
  1. In the left pane, right-click the folder you want to share.
  2. View the sharing properties.
    • In 2003, select Sharing.
    • In 2007/2010/2013, select Properties….
  3. Select the Permissions tab.
  4. Click the Add… button.
  5. Navigate to and select the person to whom you want to assign access.
  6. Near the bottom of the window, click the Add button.
  7. Click OK.
  8. From the Permission Level: drop-down list, select the level of access you want the person to have.
  9. Click Apply.
  10. Click OK.
Note: You must give folder visible permissions to the root of the folder and the mailbox

View another person’s mailbox folders in Outlook

​To view another person’s folders:
  1. Start Outlook.
  2. Choose to open a folder.
    • In Outlook 2003/2007:
      1. From the File drop-down list, select Open.
      2. Select Other User’s Folder….
    • In Outlook 2010:
      1. Select the File tab.
      2. In the left menu column, select Open.
      3. Select Other User’s Folder.
  3. Click the Name button.
  4. From the list, select the person’s name.
  5. Click OK.
  6. From the Folder type drop-down list, select the folder you want to view.
  7. Click OK.

Access more than one exchange account in Outlook

​To access more than one Exchange account:
  1. Log on to the Exchange account in Outlook that you will use to view the other account(s).
  2. Navigate to the account settings.
    • In 2003:
      1. From the Tools drop-down list, select E-mail Accounts.
      2. Select the View or change existing e-mail accounts radio button.
      3. Click Next.
    • In 2007, from the Tools drop-down list, select Account Settings….
    • In 2010/2013:
      1. Select the File tab.
      2. In the left menu pane, select Info.
      3. Click the Account Settings button.
      4. From the drop-down list, select Account Settings….
  3. From the list, select your Exchange account.
  4. Click the Change… button.
  5. Click the More Settings… button.
  6. Select the Advanced tab.
  7. Click the Add… button.
  8. In the Add mailbox: text box, type the name of the person whose account you want to access.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Click Next.
  12. Click Finish.
